We are a bitumen producer in Iran
As an Iranian bitumen producer, Nikogostar Gharb Company exports various types of bitumen in different packaging from Bandar Abbas, UAE and Turkey to the global market. Our products are offered with the best quality and price and have numerous commercial references in the destination countries. Also, our produced bitumens are approved by reputable global standards such as ASTM and EN.
Oxidized Bitumen
Types of oxidized bitumen include:
115/15, 90/40, 110/30, 90/15, 95/25, 85/25, 75/25, 90/10, 150/5
We produce oxidized bitumen by air blowing method, which creates hard hydrocarbons with different softening points and penetration. This product is available in a variety of packaging, including 25 kg meltable bags, kraft bags, metal drums, and bulk.
Uses: Asphalt sealant, cable covering, insulation.
Blown bitumen is available in three types: soft, medium, and hard. For example, 150/5 means a softening point of 150 and a penetration of 5.

Gilsonite (Natural Bitumen)
Gilsonite is a natural mineral used in various industries, especially in oil well drilling as a lubricant and friction reducer.
In asphalting, it acts like cement and prevents cracking of road surfaces.
In foundry, it strengthens sand and smoothes the surface of the mold.
In the paint and ink industry, it is used as a black pigment resistant to heat and chemicals.
In shoemaking, it is used to give shine and protect against moisture.
What is Gilsonite?
A black, shiny, dry, and brittle substance called natural bitumen, Asphaltum is also known as unitite. It is soluble in petroleum solvents and has a variety of physical and chemical properties.
- Role in oil drilling
Gilsonite increases the stability of drilling fluid and extends the life of drilling equipment. - Application in asphalt
Adding it to asphalt increases durability, resistance to traffic and weather conditions. - Environmentally friendly
Due to its natural nature, it has less environmental impact than chemical additives.
Gilsonite powder
Monthly production of 10,000 tons of rock and 3,000 tons of powder
Meshes 10 to 300 according to API, EN, ASTM standards
Packaging: 25 and 50 kg, 300 and 500 kg, 1 ton jumbo
In the past, Gilsonite was It was available in Select and Fine grades, with the Select grade being more expensive due to its higher purity. Today, classification is based on softness point and mesh.
